Welcome to the World Headquarters for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. As the crown jewel of the 28 Academies located around the world, DLGA ChampionsGate offers to its students the very finest learning and practice facilities to help students “Build a Lifelong Game.”
Located just outside of Orlando and minutes from Disney World, DLGA ChampionsGate is proud to provide the world's finest instruction at a location that hand selected and designed by David Leadbetter to give students the ultimate learning experience. As you approach the academy, you'll notice our spacious 4 acre practice area designed to accommodate groups of all sizes. With two putting greens (16,000+ ft.2), two chipping greens (8,000+ ft.2) and a pitching area with 12 target bunkers, each and every student will be able to develop and perfect all aspects of their golf game.
Step into our spacious Academy building and you will be warmly greeted by a member of the DLGA staff in our Pro-Shop, complete with Jos. A. Bank apparel, David's books, DVD's, training aids and Callaway Golf clubs— all to help you look and play your best. Inside the Academy building you will also find 7 state of the art video rooms, an indoor/outdoor hitting bay, a Biomechanics and Golf Performance Studio, a Strength, Flexibility and Fitness Studio, an indoor putting room, and a full service Club Fitting and Repair Shop. Unique to DLGA ChampionsGate is the service of renowned Sports Psychologist and Performance Consultant, Dr. Robert Winters.
